Özgür Özcan Bio

Özgür is a seasoned finance professional with 14 years of investment banking experience. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed numerous mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions totaling over US$1.0 billion. His expertise spans various industries, encompassing auto parts, chemicals, consumer durables, energy, machinery & equipment, mining and packaging. Prior to co-founding Arma Capital, Özgür served as Managing Director at a leading investment banking firm, where he spearheaded teams involved in complex transactions in M&A, demonstrating his expertise in deal origination, execution, and negotiation. His analytical prowess and strategic foresight were instrumental in securing the successful closure of deals, facilitating clients in reaching their objectives. Özgür earned his MS degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Italy, and his BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University, Turkey
