Cyrus Hormazdi Bio

Mr. Hormazdi is a Partner of GCP and has been a member of the GCP investment committee since 2014. Mr. Hormazdi joined Greenhill Capital Partners in September 2006. Mr. Hormazdi has over 16 years of private equity investment experience, with the majority of his private equity experience as an investment professional at GCP. Prior to joining GCP, Mr. Hormazdi previously worked at GTCR Golder Rauner, a Chicago-based private equity firm, and at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its Investment Banking Division in New York. Mr. Hormazdi has been a member of the investment team of over 15 completed private equity investments. Mr. Hormazdi focuses on financial technology and business services. Mr. Hormazdi is currently a Director of Complete Merchant Solutions and UpdatePromise. Mr. Hormazdi is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received a B.S. summa cum laude in Economics from the Wharton School (2000) and of Harvard Business School (2006).
