Cyrus Maghami Bio

Cyrus founded Harbor Ridge Capital in 2009 to support entrepreneurs of high-growth, boot-strapped technology companies with high-touch M&A advisory services. Prior to Harbor Ridge Capital, Cyrus was a managing director with Layer 7 Capital, an investment bank focused on tech-enabled services, a co-founder of Shackleton Equity, a middle market private equity group focused on acquisitions of distressed assets, and an investment professional with Kayne Anderson Private Investors, a growth private equity fund with over $500 million under management, investing in tech-enabled services and software companies. Further, Cyrus was a CFO of a former client after advising on an acquisition of their largest competitor and raising the financing. Cyrus is FINRA licensed with Series 79, 82, and 63. He earned a B.A. degree in literature from the University of Southern California. In his off time, Cyrus enjoys cooking, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife, son and dog.
