Dan Apungu Bio

Dan Apungu joined Adenia in 2022 as a Principal in the Kenya office focusing on investments in Sub-Saharan Africa, where his role and responsibilities comprise of originating and executing investment opportunities as well as providing ongoing support to Adenia portfolio companies. Dan has over 10 years of experience, working across the United States and Africa. Prior to joining Adenia, Dan served as an investment banking professional for Standard Bank in Kenya and South Africa. His experience in the United States consisted of opportunities at J.P Morgan (Leveraged Finance) and Morgan Stanley (Equity Research). Dan is passionate about growing Africa sustainably through responsible and sustainable investment.
