Mr. Bove is an accomplished veteran of the renewable energy industry having led a variety of commercial-facing, project development, project execution and supply chain management roles at pioneering renewable energy companies. Prior to joining Excelsior Energy Capital, Mr. Bove was the Vice President - M&A Operations at Distributed Solar Development focused on the company’s acquisition development diligence and execution activities. In 2000, Mr. Bove began his renewable energy career at BP Solar International, a wholly owned subsidiary of British Petroleum, where he held roles in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing Leadership and Global Commercial Management. Following his tenure at BP Solar, Mr. Bove was COO at UR Solar Power, a residential photovoltaic energy systems sales and installation business. Mr. Bove has also served as EVP - Development and Operations at Empower Energies Inc. where he led the project development and construction of photovoltaic systems in the Commercial, Industrial & Municipal, University, Schools and Hospital market spaces. Mr. Bove also led the company’s Combined Heat & Power offering and was instrumental in contracted the off-take and construction of its first CHP energy solution with a large national fitness provider. Mr. Bove holds a BS - Supply Chain Management from Robert Morris University and an MBA from Loyola University - Maryland.
