Dan Jacques Bio

Dan is a Co-Founder and serves as a Managing Partner at Headwater Equity Partners. Dan has more than 30 years experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking, bringing extensive experience in corporate finance to the Headwater Equity team. Prior to founding Headwater Equity Partners, Dan served as a Senior Director at HSBC Capital (Canada) where he sourced, negotiated, executed and exited numerous private equity and mezzanine investments in Western Canada. He also served as Chairman of the Board and a Board Member for a number of portfolio companies in a variety of industries. Prior to joining HSBC Capital (Canada), Dan worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley’s Technology Group in Silicon Valley, at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette in New York and KPMG corporate finance in Vancouver. Dan is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program at the Richard Ivey School of business at the University of Western Ontario. In addition, he has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honours from Simon Fraser University.
