Dan Ouyang is the co-chair of the Firm's Asia Pacific Capital Markets Practice and co-chair of the Hong Kong and Mainland China Capital Markets Practice. She has extensive experience with US and Hong Kong equity offerings, Rule 144A and Reg S bond offerings, and private equity and M&A transactions. She has represented corporate clients across a range of industries, including technology, healthcare, education and entertainment, in more than 100 IPOs and follow-on offerings in the U.S. and Hong Kong. Dan started her legal career in New York. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, she was the leader of the capital markets practice in an international law firm’s Greater China group. She was also a partner at another large international firm's Beijing office. She was previously a journalist at China Central Television and China Radio International.
