Dan Peterson Bio

Mr. Peterson has more than thirty years’ experience starting, capitalising, managing, and advising high-growth companies in various industries, including high-tech, real estate, investment management, and tech-enabled services. Early in his career, he served as a partner in the world’s largest private real estate development and management company. Mr. Peterson has served as founder and/or partner in the venture, private equity, search, and real estate investment funds, which now manage more than $2.0 billion. He has been a principal in scores of transactions and financings worth $billions. He currently serves at both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, including Fifth Partners. Mr. Peterson graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics from Brigham Young University and received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is the father of five children and has two grandsons. He resides in Millcreek, Utah, with his wife of nearly thirty-five years.
