Dan Petterøe Bio

Dan is a partner at Oaklins Norway. With more than 20 years’ experience in M&A, he has broad industry expertise, having worked on numerous national and international transactions. Dan is part of the firm’s IT services team, and his focus areas are currently on TMT, business support services and construction & engineering services. Recent transactions include the sale of fiber optics specialist Fibber to Vestum; the acquisition of IT services group ØB Solutions by Equip Capital; the sale of auto repair chain MPS Bilskade to Cary Group, backed by Nordic Capital; the majority sale of IT consulting firm ITverket to Bertel O. Steen Kapital; the sale of temporary power solutions provider Satema to United Power, backed by Connecting Capital; and the sale of wind and climate effects specialist Kjeller Vindteknikk to Norconsult. Prior to joining Oaklins Norway in 2000, Dan was an associate at MWR Group concentrating on the firm’s investments and ownership interests in shipping, real estate and private and listed companies. He has a BSc in Management Sciences from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School, London.
