Dan Saldanha Bio

Dan Saldanha leads Värde’s Fund Analytics and Risk Management team and oversees macro research and strategy support for the firm’s investing teams. He is responsible for supporting portfolio management and driving risk management decisions and capital efficiency across the Värde fund complex. This includes fund-level financing, capital optimization, investment allocations, and portfolio and market risk hedging. Based in Singapore since 2018, he joined the firm in London in 2015. Prior to joining Värde, Dan worked in market risk at The Swiss Re Group, and in credit and market risk at RBS Group. Dan received a MEng in Chemical Engineering from University of Cambridge.
