With over 30 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Accounting, and Financial Analysis, Dan is a highly accomplished finance professional known for his strategic vision and exceptional leadership. He has a proven track record of successfully executing complex business transactions including divestitures, management buyouts, balance sheet restructurings, and shareholder transactions. Throughout his extensive career, Dan has held senior roles with several major companies where he honed his technical skills in financial reporting and analysis. He began his career as an accountant at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Furthering his expertise at Mellon Financial Corporation, UPMC, and Deloitte & Touche, Dan gained exposure to a diverse range of industries and financial practices. Dan has successfully facilitated numerous Merger and Acquisition transactions, guiding clients through the complexities of due diligence, valuation, and negotiation. His keen analytical skills and deep understanding of market dynamics have been instrumental in identifying potential acquisition targets and ensuring successful outcomes. As a Chief Financial Officer for multiple private businesses, Dan has demonstrated a deep understanding of corporate finance and has led organizations through financial transformations, enhancing profitability and stakeholder value. A Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Pennsylvania, Dan is also a licensed General Securities Representative (FINRA Series 7 and 63). He is committed to continuous professional development and has served as a board member for The Foundation for IUP as well as Treasurer and Board Member for the Association for Corporate Growth, Pittsburgh.
