Farhad Abbasov Bio

Farhad joined Bluewater in 2019 and his key responsibilities include deal origination, execution, and portfolio management.  He focuses on manufacturing and services companies across energy and industrial sectors. During his time at Bluewater, Farhad has worked on a number of current and realised investments including px Group, CRC Evans, Kent, Galileo Global Technologies, Severn Group, EDGE Gathering Virtual Pipelines, Wellesley and ROVOP. Prior to joining Bluewater, Farhad worked at Nomura in London, where he advised on M&A transactions in the Natural Resources, Power and Infrastructure sectors across Europe and Asia. He started his career at SOCAR’s Investments team in Baku. Farhad holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from University College London and MSc degree in Investment & Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School.
