Garrett Palm Bio

Garrett Palm is the Chief Operating Officer and a Principal at Boston Meridian and has more than 25 years of investment banking experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and equity capital markets across a number of technology sectors including software, communications equipment and e-commerce. Prior to joining Boston Meridian, Garrett was a member of the Communications Equipment team at Thomas Weisel Partners (now Stifel Financial) where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private placements for systems and components companies. Previously, Garrett worked at Montgomery Securities where he helped develop the firm’s east coast Software and Internet practice. He began his investment banking career as a member of the Energy Group at Smith Barney (now Citigroup) where he worked both in Corporate Finance and on the Equity Capital Markets Desk analyzing alternative equity-related issues, executing private placements, and marketing and pricing initial public offerings and follow-on transactions. Between his time at Montgomery and Thomas Weisel Partners, Garrett worked for a software company in the Bay Area. Garrett holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
