Haiping Deng Bio

Haiping Deng graduated from Peking University Law School with an LL.M. degree (July 2001) and an LL.B. degree (July 1998). He also studied in the University of Georgia and obtained an LL.M. degree in May 2004. Mr. Deng joined Jingtian & Gongcheng as a legal assistant in 2001. After that, he once worked in anther local law firm and an international law firm’s Beijing office. Mr. Deng re-joined Jingtian & Gongcheng in September 2007 and became a partner in 2008. Mr. Deng specializes in corporate, M & A, capital market, private equity, and FDI. In terms of M & A and private equity, Mr. Deng has assisted overseas private equity funds and other investors in several successful M & A cases and PE transactions involving domestic equities. He has also assisted his clients in establishing Renminbi private equity funds. In terms of capital market, Mr. Deng has represented many domestic companies in their listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. Deng obtained the PRC lawyer's qualification certificate in 2004 and was admitted in to the New York State Bar in 2006. Mr. Deng is a native mandarin speaker with English fluency.
