Hakob Grigoryan Bio

Mr. Grigoryan is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s Power Opportunities investment strategy. He is responsible for all aspects of the group’s investment activities, including sourcing and executing new investments and overseeing portfolio companies. Mr. Grigoryan currently serves on the board of Energy Systems Group. Mr. Grigoryan previously served as a board member of Signal Energy, Sterling Solutions, and MWH Constructors, and board observer for Infrastructure & Energy Alternatives (NASDAQ: IEA), Shermco Industries, and SitelogIQ. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2016, he was an associate in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance group of UBS Investment Bank. While at UBS, Mr. Grigoryan was also an analyst in the Power and Utilities group, where he advised clients across the power, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. Mr. Grigoryan earned B.A. degrees in economics and political economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
