Ian Calhoun Bio

Ian Calhoun is a member of Alston & Bird’s Financial Services Group. Ian advises wealth management, investment advisory, and financial services firms, as well as payments and banking clients on a range of transactional matters, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and outside corporate counsel. Ian has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the Mergers & Acquisitions Law category. Ian earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2013 from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as a symposium editor for the Georgia Law Review. Before law school, Ian earned an M.S. in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
