Ian Russell Bio

Ian Russell, CBE, is resident in the UK and is a qualified accountant. He was appointed to the Board on 1 May 2013. Ian worked for Scottish Power plc between 1994 and 2006, initially as Finance Director and, from 2001, as its CEO. Prior to this he spent eight years as Finance Director at HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong and London. Ian is chairman of Scottish Futures Trust and a director of Herald Investment Trust plc. Effective from 1 March 2016, Ian took over the role of Chairman of HICL's Board of Directors.
