Ian Winchester Bio

Mr. Winchester has worked in the Insurance industry for over 50 years, first in London and for the last 30 years in New York. During that time he has served on the board of directors of several companies including Endurance Speciality, Bermuda ( now Sompo International ) and it’s UK subsidiaries; Montpelier Reinsurance, Bermuda and it’s UK subsidiaries; Toplis and Harding ( now Vericlaim Inc. ) US Claims Adjusters; Winchester Bowring, Lloyd’s Reinsurance Brokers; Resolution Underwriting Partners, MGA managers based in London; Trinity General Agency, a US based MGA and Accordion Partners, a Financial Services Consulting firm headquartered in New York. He was also the Managing Partner of the BHC Winton Funds, New York, a series of Funds providing capital to Syndicates at Lloyd’s. He has been a shareholder of Stonybrook Capital since 2014 since when he has served as a member of the Operating Committee, which he now chairs.
